Vintage Nun Doll 1938 Composite Body 13”. This doll was grandma’s prized possession in 2nd grade. She was so proud to have it that she showed it to her grade school nuns. They got mad at her because the doll was wearing pants and that was not an accurate portrayal of their habit dress. This composite doll has a black outfit which is not removable. Visible dirt as pictured. Staples in back of head and back of neck. The outfit is sewn permanently on the doll. Some cracking in the face. Please see hands. Some cracking in the glaze on the legs. The movable eyes close when the doll is laying down. See pictures. This piece of history is ready for the next owner.
