VINTAGE COMPOSITION (HOLCUM/HOLCOMB?) DOLL - EARLY TO MID CENTURY
There are a couple of resurfaced thin cracks in the legs (See last photo).
Doll has Sleep Eyes. Teeth, Curly Blond Hair and Red Lips & Fingernails.
It has a sound box in it's back, but it is not working at present.
At this point I must admit that my knowledge of dolls is limited at best and any information I list here is as a result of interaction with local doll buyers, sellers,and collectors. This doll's original dress was disintegrating when I found it (see photo 11). I am given to believe that this doll is relatively rare. For me, I see a slight resemblance to an early Hollywood child star.  I have priced it below recommendations of those in the know.
