I am unfamiliar with the laminator, so I made the
VIDEO
link below showing the limited testing. The laminator powers up.  It heats up. And it makes a sound like it is laminating (or rather, would laminate if the proper material was fed into it).  The prior owner believed it to be fully functional.
The unit may have abrasions or scratches.
