RARE 14" PETITE AC doll 40's era Composition pre-SWEET SUE doll Floss braid wig

14" PETITE composition American Character Pre-SWEET SUE DOLL. She is composition but her head is the same as the early Sweet Sue mold. She was Marketed as a PETITE doll in the 40's. (see reference) Her floss braid top wig is amazing. Good brown clear sleep eyes with full lashes. She does have crazing all over in general some areas a little more than others. There are some lines that radiate from her eyes and a chip at her neckline all pictured. There are some Areas on her legs that are heavier crazed. Fingers and toes are complete. She has had ZERO restoration or repair. Even her stringing looks to be original and she still holds a nice pose! The dress looks like a beautifully made replica of her original. If not original, not sure.  It is minty and expertly made. Has a slip and undies to match. Shoes and socks look original. She displays beautifully. This is a HTF doll that is often misidentified as a Alexander Karen because of the hair.
