  • Condition: Pre-owned, but in good condition. Her composition is great, though there is a hairline at the edge of her right eye and a small one above & below the left eye. Both arms have something black that has rubbed off in the wrist area - I'm going to leave it alone for someone who knows what they're doing to deal with. It looks like maybe the plastic from her purse handle has rubbed off. The palms of both hands have quite a bit of crackling, but all fingers are intact. Stringing is loose and she needs to be restrung.

    Description

    Pretty 14-Inch Composition Mary Hoyer Doll.  Circa 1937.    She is very loosely strung, and needs to be re-strung.  Her face is lovely with good coloring and perfect lashes, but there are some small cracks by each eye.  Original blond wig retains most of it's original set and is excellent.  Blue sleep eyes.  Back of torso is marked "The Mary Hoyer Doll."   There is some black staining on both wrists - I'm going to leave it alone, but I think it will come off - it is probably from the black strap of her original purse.  All fingers are intact, but there are crazes and lifts in the palm areas.  She is wearing original dress, tam, panties, and has her original plaid handbag.  Sorry, no shoes or socks.   Compo limbs and arms are excellent.
