Planet Tone 1959 Special humbuckers are a hot vintage pickup with more mids than a standard PAF for a touch more power, and bigger low end growl.

The 1959 Specials have an amazing warmth with a nice overwind to lend towards a meaty blues and rock tone. Made with Alnico II magnets, the sustain is amazing and allows for a nice low end growl with that vintage warmth. There is a nice dynamic balance, the highs are lush and sparkling for amazing clean tones while the low end is relatively tight and punchy for chord clarity and definition.
The bridge pickup has been pushed up to 9.5k which is gives it a nice blues-rock feel. Great for lead work, rhythm and so much more. It has the punch as well as the mids to give a superb tonal response.
The set is rich and warm with nice highs so they respond well to pedals with lots of head room so there is no muddying up, just lots of creamy lead tone.
The set is very versatile and can be used for all styles of music but is ideal for rock and blues and that killer Texas blues tone.
