Nelson Eddy, rare 17", Royal Canadian Mountie compo. & cloth male boudoir doll

Still love a man in a uniform!
Here is another handsome, 17" tall, all original,
Royal Canadian Mounted Police,
composition head and arms with cloth body doll, circa 1930s. Often used as a mascot for the HUDSON BAY Co., he is
fully labeled
with shoulder patch
R.C.M.P.
insignia as well as his bright red, military style jacket with brass buttons, four pockets, black belt and shoulder strap. He has attractive, strong features with brown painted eyes, long nose and closed mouth. He has brown molded and painted hair with a bit of wear and good complexion color. He is
signed in raised letters on the back of his neck

and wears original, navy cotton, fitted trousers with wide gold stripe and original, long black leatherette boots with lace up ties and wonderful,
brown felt Stetson hat with wide brim and brown leatherette hat band
. He is in excellent condition as described here. His clothing is bright and clean with no wear or fading, no stains or dust and no odors as he is from a smoke free home.          (loc 1) His brother (also shown in photos) is
not included
and has been sold.
He'll make an excellent companion for some of your female
boudoir dolls

Nelson Eddy from the movie, "Rose Marie".
Rose Marie is a
1936 musical film starring Jeanette MacDonald,
Nelson Eddy
and Reginald Owen and directed by W. S. Van Dyke.
It was the second of three movie adaptations from Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer of the 1924 Broadway musical of the same name. A silent version was released in
1928
and a color film in 1954.
