VINTAGE 1930s EFFANBEE
LOVUMS
COMPOSITION DOLL
You are looking at a beautiful antique/vintage EFFANBEE ‘LOVUMS’ doll.
LOVUMS was made by EFFANBEE around 1930. She is marked on the back of her breastplate: 'EFFANBEE/LOVUMS/C/PAT. No. 1283558.
This sweet ‘old’ doll is in excellent restored condition. She comes with a hang-tag which identifies her as a restored doll from DOLL HEAVEN. LOVUMS measures 19" in length and has a head circumference of 11.5". Her head, breastplate, full arms & curved legs are made of composition. She has a replaced, clean cloth body with NEW, clean stuffing.  Her crier makes squeaks when squeezed.
LOVUMS can be displayed well because of the breastplate on which the head can be moved.
LOVUMS has soft coloring with blush in the ‘right’ places. Her hair is molded and painted blond. She has painted upper and lower eyelashes, real upper lashes, and painted multi-stroke eyebrows. She has an open red mouth showing a red metal tongue and two upper and two lower teeth. The lovely tin sleep eyes are brown and function smoothly.
LOVUMS' outfit was designed and crafted here at DOLL HEAVEN. It consists of a pink cotton organdy dress and  bonnet embellished with lovely white lace and pink and white daisy trim, white cotton ONESIES, and vintage off-white crocheted booties.
