ANTIQUE COMPOSITION 1920's FLAPPER STYLE BABY DOLL, TIN EYES, 20"

Description

Sale is for an antique 20" unmarked composition baby doll.  Shoulder plate head, soft body, 1920's.  She has a unique flapper style wig complete with bobbie pins; bonnet, light organza dress over a purple cotton dress, and underneath full body bloomers.  Socks and tie shoes.  One shoe is torn at the eyelet.  Tin open/close blue sleep eyes.  I left the dress on to take pictures because it is very tight and did not want to risk any tears.  These look like her original clothes.  The composition of this doll is very nice - especially for her age.  Her face is almost flawless.  Legs look good except for a small peel spot on the left leg.  The arms have light cracks in the bend of the arm, some crazing, and tiny cracks on the hands.  Right hand is missing a thumb. Her top layer dress has an obvious large stain on the front and discoloring.  The shoes have discolor on the bottom.  She is a recent estate doll from an elderly collector.  Please see pictures for detail.  Sold as is in vintage condition.  Ebay return policy.
