Antique Asian hand pained tiger scene octagon wood rice barrel with lid.
1800s octagon shaped wooden rice barrel with lid
Hand painted scenic art and tigers.
Well loved with cosmetic damage.
with scuffs, paint chips, and the wire lining the top and bottom of the barrel has pulled away in some places.
There is a crack in the lid

No cracks in the barrel itself and very sturdy. Inside is very clean.
If used for food storage I would recommend a plastic lining in the barrel, as I do not know what it was painted with.
This has been used purely as a decorative piece for the past 30 years.
